Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, add the sugar and the water. Bring to a boil then letthe syrup simmer for 10 minutes. Add the lemon juice, vinegar, and mint to the syrup and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. Once cooled, strain the syrup and transfer into a bottle.

Step 2

To serve: mix 1 part syrup with 3 parts of sparkling water. Pour over ice in a chilled glass and garnish with a lemon slice, mint leaf and a thinly sliced green apple.

1 Cup of Sugar

1 3/4 Cups Water

3 tbsps. Apple Cider Vinegar

Juice of 2 lemons

1/2 Cup of Fresh Mint Leaves
