Preparation

Step 1

In a large teapot, add the tea. Add 1/2 a cup of boiling water and wait 20 seconds. Then gently swirl the teapot to rinse out the tea, and discard the water.

Step 2

Add the remaining water and let the tea steep for 2 minutes. Stir in the sugar and then add the fresh mint. Let the tea steep for an additional 3 minutes.

Step 3

Pour the hot tea over a pitcher filled with ice. Serve in tall glasses with ice.

Ingredients

2 tbsp. of Unflavored Green or Black Tea

4 tbsp. of Sugar

1 Bunch of Fresh Mint

21/2 Cups of Boiling Filtered Water

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Tips and Tricks

Tip #1

Try to use the highest quality tea you can find.

Tip #2

If you don’t have fresh mint, you can use 4 tablespoons of good quality dried mint leaves. Only use dried mint leaves and not crushed mint leaves.
